In the third (and last) video fragment, the speaker talks about the care his Italian brother-in-law bestowed on his own father, saying:

"It may be a cultural thing. Parents seem to be held in higher regard in Italy than in some other European countries."

Before you watch the video: ask yourself the following questions:

Judging from the two earlier fragments, in the previous section, would you say that the speaker is positive about his Italian brother-in-law? Write your answer in Exercise 8 in your worksheet.
